Charles Zoller (1856-1934) American photographer. Furniture dealer successful from Rochester, he discovered a passion for photography, he was the first amateur photographer to use the process of autochrome. Over the years Zoller documented the activities of the city of Rochester, rich neighborhoods with nice homes, on the border with the country of the Finger Lakes. Zoller thanks to the passion for photography he traveled extensively along the coast of Florida to California. Here he met and photographed Charlie Chaplin in 1918. The George Eastman House in 1988 presented the exhibition Rochester In Color: “The Autochromes of Charles Zoller”.
